The last time B.C. recorded fewer than 200 cases during one 24-hour reporting period was October 20, when officials announced 167 infections.
19 of the new cases were discovered in Interior Health.
There are now 2,953 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 249 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19, 78 of whom are in intensive care.
Last night, there were 89 coronavirus patients in Irish hospitals - a 19.5% decrease on this day last week.

According to B.C.'s top doctor, one person who died was in their 40s, two people were in their 60s, six people were in their 70s and two people were over 80.
"The more people who are fully vaccinated, the less risk there is that the virus can spread in our communities, and the more quickly we'll be able to confidently put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us". The province has not provided that many second doses in a single day since February 22, when 18,134 second doses were administered.
The second dose total is now 191,222.
The Hawai'i Department of Health reported 56 new cases of coronavirus Tuesday.
