OnePlus Band with AMOLED display, 2 weeks battery life goes official

OnePlus Band is set to launch in India today during a virtual event.
OnePlus Band features a dual-tone strap design, which looks pretty cool, and houses the central pill that tracks your health and well-being. The fitness band can be charged using a USB-A wired charging dongle. While the company hasn't confirmed but we expect the band to reach other markets in the days to come.

OnePlus Band is priced at Rs 2,499 in India. The device comes with an AMOLED colour display. OnePlus will also separately sell wrist straps for the OnePlus Band in Navy and Tangerine Gray colours at Rs. 399 each. Basic information will be visible on the Band, but for a better understanding of your health, you'll want to gaze at the companion Health app for Android. It will be available under an early access sale for Red Cable Club members, from 9am on January 12, exclusively via OnePlus.in and the OnePlus Store app.

Of course, this can take a hit when some features are turned on, including the tracking of blood oxygen (SpO2) saturation via the infrared sensor, the heart rate monitor, and the sleep tracker. The band features a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 294 x 126-pixel resolution. The band comes with dual colour straps.
The fitness tracker comes with 13 exercise modes that include yoga and cricket. The app will show the activity data and health suggestions to the user.

However, OnePlus is bringing support for iPhone along with a corresponding OnePlus Health app on iOS at a later stage. The processor and RAM are a mystery, but the company has revealed the battery size - 100 mAh, which should last up to two weeks on a single charge. The OnePlus Band weighs 22.6 grams and measures 40.4*17.6*11.95mm.
