"To allow additional time for developing in-app purchase solutions, this deadline has been extended to June 30, 2021".

Apple has informed developers that its annual App Store Connect holiday downtime will run from December 23 until December 27. "Apple has agreed to provide a brief, three-month respite after which struggling businesses will have to, yet again, pay Apple the full 30% App Store tax".
The iPhone manufacturer said last week that developers who make less than $1 million from selling apps on its store will see Apple's revenue bite cut to 15 percent.
That updated rule was introduced in September alongside broader changes to the company's App Store Review Guidelines. Apple CEO Tim Cook was asked about the company's policies regarding seasons and virtual events at a Congressional hearing in July by Representative Jerry Nadler, chair of the House Judiciary Committee.
Though lawyers initially planned to report Apple as well, they chose to postpone their decision after Apple said Wednesday it would reduce the standard commission on its App Store to 15 percent from 30 percent for app developers with annual profits of less than $1 million starting next year.
