Five people remained in hospital Friday, two of them in critical care, and 278 cases remain active.
There is also one new health-care facility outbreak at Dania Home in the Fraser Health region, the statement says.

The number of people testing positive for the coronavirus in BC continues to rise.
Dix said the majority of the 41 new cases announced Thursday were linked to those two outbreaks. Public health teams are still responding to ongoing outbreaks at a blueberry packing facility in the Fraser Valley and on Haida Gwaii.

There are 2 new cases in Northern Health, and 50 province-wide.
