Flu season usually peaks in February.
With global focus on the deadly coronavirus outbreak, flu cases continue to rise in Oklahoma.
Early in the season, strain B became the most common. This is very unusual because A, which is more risky, is usually the most common. The outbreak so far has killed more than 1,000 people and infected thousands.

State officials won't say much about the latest pediatric flu death, except that the child is under 18 and the death was in southern Wisconsin.
However, there may be less deaths because most of the people who are getting sick are younger and more likely to survive.

Gallagher, PharmD, editor in chief of Contagion®, and a clinical professor at Temple University of College of Pharmacy, said in a previous interview.More news: Miley Cyrus Made Fun of Her NYFW Wardrobe Malfunction
