The uncrewed Cygnus spacecraft launched at 9:59 a.m. EDT Saturday, November 2, 2019, on an Antares rocket from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. The oven, which can reach a top temperature of 363.3 C, was created to take advantage of the modular nature of the ISS and will be installed in its own specially-designed locker insert.
"Zero-G Oven explores the possibility and challenges of baking fresh meals in a microgravity environment", a description of the NASA experiment says.

An oven has been sent recently to the International Space Station with the Cygnus capsule, so the astronauts will experiment the baking of cookies in space and see what impact heat and zero gravity will have on the shape of the cookies.
The capsule also contains the equipment needed to complete a series of spacewalks this month to fix a key particle physics detector, as well as a range of research equipment and crew supplies.
The spacecraft successfully separated from the rocket about nine minutes after the blastoff, flying on its way to the space station, according to NASA's live broadcast.More news: David Eason Claims Jenelle Evans 'Disappeared' With Their Daughter Amid Divorce Drama!
The shipment, weighing about 3700kg, is expected to reach the ISS on Tuesday (NZ time).
When Cygnus, dubbed the S.S. Alan Bean, arrives at the space station on Monday, November 4, Expedition 61 astronauts Jessica Meir and Christina Koch of NASA will use the space station's robotic arm to capture Cygnus, and NASA's Andrew Morgan will monitor telemetry.
Flight controllers at the Johnson Space Center in Houston then took over arm operations and remotely pulled the Cygnus in for berthing at the Earth-facing port of the station's central Unity module, locking it in place with 16 motorized bolts.More news: Hulman & Company to announce sale of IMS, INDYCAR to Penske
