"CBS is a repeat blackout offender", AT&T said in a statement.
Other cities affected are Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis, Miami, Denver, Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

The New York Times reported that AT&T said the CBS was demanding "unprecedented increases" in the fees it charges DirecTV for content. "AT&T, however, continues to propose unfair terms well below those agreed to by its competitors and may drop CBS unless we agree to those terms". Recent messages from AT&T have pointed customers to over-the-air signals and the non-profit local TV streaming app Locast and have not mentioned All Access as a way of getting the CBS signal.
In relation to a reduced price rise, AT&T also advocates the capacity to sell the streaming service of CBS as a distinct alternative, which can provide it with greater flexibility and reduced expenses by removing the channel from its fundamental package.
AT&T is also involved in contract negotiations with Irving-based Nexstar Media Group, impacting DirecTV customers across the nation. "In short, CBS is seeking to convert a free, publicly subsidized broadcast station into a high-cost channel while leaving cable and satellite customers holding the bag", AT&T said.More news: SpaceX Starship could re-transport humans to the moon in few years
