The UK, and the rest of the world, is going through something that has never been seen ever before.
"The best thing we can do - apart from staying at home - is to use our skills and networks to say thank you to everyone who is supporting the NHS and risking their own health to help others during this pandemic". One of those groups are the men and women of the NHS who are working tirelessly to try and protect us, the Great British public.

People can take part in the national salute from their gardens, front doors and balconies to show their support.
