Phillip Dorsett will have a new address soon.
Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett told ESPN's Josina Anderson he is signing a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. Dorsett is likely to compete with David Moore, Malik Turner and John Ursua for the No. 3 role in Seattle's offense. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network later reported that it's a one-year deal for the former Patriots wideout.More news: Social distancing could be needed for most of 2020
"Seattle felt like the best opportunity to be the player I know I can be as a WR". Shows you his work ethic. "I think overall it's just t/ (sic) right for me".
In 14 games last season, Dorsett registered 397 yards and five touchdowns on 29 receptions. Another former first-round pick with a disappointing National Football League career, Dorsett's speed (4.33-second 40 time at the 2015 combine, same as DK Metcalf in 2019) makes him a strong candidate for Seattle's third receiver spot behind Tyler Lockett and Metcalf.More news: New York Faces A Desperate Situation As COVID-19 Cases Top 25000
