Before the cancellation, Chinese smartphone giants Huawei Technologies, Oppo, Xiaomi Corp and ZTE Corp were expected to take part in MWC Barcelona, but with a smaller contingent, according to persons with knowledge of the matter. Again, this is uncertain.
