Stone was convicted in November of tampering with a witness and obstructing the House investigation into whether the Trump campaign coordinated with Russian Federation to tip the 2016 election.
A self-proclaimed "dirty trickster", Stone has known Mr Trump since the 1980s and was instrumental in guiding him on his first steps to the White House.
