Two more deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours from measles in Samoa, according to the latest update from the National Emergency Operation Centre.
Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi revealed during a press conference that all departments of the government, besides the water authority and electric power corporation, would be shut down on Thursday and Friday. It is estimated that 2,000 to 3,000 government employees will take part in the immunization campaign.
