The last four starts at the annual Hero World Challenge have seen Tiger Woods in a different hue each time.
Woods, who is heading from here to Australia to lead the USA into battle in next week's Presidents' Cup as a playing captain, was asked if he believed 18 majors was still achievable on the back of a season that also saw him win the Zozo Championship in Japan and climb to seventh in the world rankings.
Scott is the highest-ranked player on the worldwide team, and the depth of the USA contingent is such that even without the world's number 1 injured Brooks Koepka, seven of his 12 team members are over Scott. My time as a player is not as long as it was when I first turned pro. World No. 1 Brooks Koepka had to withdraw due to injury. I've finally come from behind to win a major championship, I finally know that I can do that now. "I think it is", Woods said Monday morning on Golf Channel's Morning Drive. "It all worked out". That was an incredible experience for me, and now I have been a part of it for so long. How was I going to recover and be ready to play? "Obviously I have to do everything right like I did at Augusta and I have to have all of the pieces come together".

Scott is set to participate in the Australian Open and the Australian PGA Championship in the weeks around the Presidents Cup. "People will look back on the past as well".
His profession PGA Tour victory mark is tied for probably the most in tour historical past. The same fire and determination were gone in Paris as Woods went 0-4 in the US defeat.

Speaking on the eve of the 21st edition of the event, which since 2014 has been sponsored by Hero MotoCorp, Woods said, "Interestingly, when I have done well here it has acted like a springboard to my following season".
"So this is a totally different animal". I have to maximise the short 30-minute practice sessions by really, really getting into that deep focus mode. It's a very busy week. Who knows if I can come from behind [again]?
