Whether it's "Family Chat" or "Carol's Wedding", many WhatsApp users find themselves constantly being added to annoying new groups. It's still possible to block everyone from adding to you to group chats by activating the "My contacts except" option and then selecting all of your contacts. You bear the solution to procure or ignore for 72 hours, put up which the invite expires. This will also allow WhatsApp to continue to expand into a slightly more app-based social network that's very, very similar to Facebook, without the spam-happy nonsense that is what Facebook's become here in 2019.
According to WhatsApp, the feature was introduced because users are increasingly turning to groups for important conversations. "Rest of the options such as "My contacts" and 'Everyone" will remain unchanged. As per the report, download number between October 17 and 25 (week before the WhatsApp-NSO Group issue) was 8.9 million and it dropped down staggeringly to 1.8 million between October 26 and November 3.More news: Whitney Houston's Best Friend Robyn Crawford Breaks Silence On Their Love Affair
WhatsApp is now offering you an opportunity to decide on whether or not you can be added to groups.
The new feature is available on the latest version of WhatsApp for both Android version 2.19.308 and iPhone version 2.19.112 users across the globe.
The app now has a "group catch up" tool that lets users quickly scroll to messages that mention them or reply to ones they've previously written. "Though growing, the current demographic is restricted to niche users focused on privacy and security in India."We live in times when nothing is 100% secure or without trade-offs", adds Lucideus" Tyagi".More news: Clemson should thank Playoff committee for so-called snub in initial rankings
Admins can also remove admin permissions of other participants and people who created groups can no longer be removed from them. Under this feature, users could pick from the following - Everyone, My Contacts, and Nobody. There is a "search" button next to the list of participants.
WhatsApp said it "believes the attack targeted at least 100 members of civil society... this number may grow higher as more victims come forward".
In order to update WhatsApp on iPhone and get these features, users must go into the App Store and click on "updates" at the bottom. These downloads, however, do not comprise re-installs, multiple installs from sale account and updates in the apps.More news: M23 crash: Man, 80, dies and woman is injured near Hooley
