Seth Meyers' debut Netflix comedy special "Lobby Baby" will include bits about his experience as a father, the tale of his wife's unorthodox experience giving birth, and a feature Netflix designed at Meyers' request that lets users skip the Trump jokes, Frank Pallotta reported for CNN Business.
"Stop saying 'perfect!' When you over-compensate like that it only makes you sound guiltier", Meyers quipped last week after Trump again described the call as such.
And to be clear, the button is a joke. It works in the same way as the service's "skip intro, ' jumping past anything the comedian says about Trump".
Seth Meyers' new special will reportedly have a "skip Trump jokes" button.More news: Top Headline for Facebook Libra, November 6th
Meyers, formerly a writer and cast member on "SNL", has a history of lampooning Trump that started long before the President made it to the White House and Meyers became host of "Late Night".
"It dawned on me that because it was on Netflix, there would be this opportunity to put in technology that would allow people to skip it".
According to him, the skip option is meant to be "another joke in the special", not a function he expects viewers to actually put into practice.

Netflix's director of original stand-up comedy programming, Robbie Praw, explained to CNN that the streaming giant was "thrilled" to be able to "take advantage of the Netflix experience in such a amusing and innovative way".
Meyers added that the button was just "another joke" in the show to him and he doesn't expect people to use it.
The innovation follows in the footsteps of Netflix's interactive movie Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, which allowed viewers to effectively create their own plot by choosing scenes they wanted to watch.
