The ABC News debate has 10 candidates altogether and will air on a broadcast network with a post-Labor Day uptick in interest in the race.
Each candidate will have one minute and 15 seconds to respond to direct questions, ABC News said, and 45 seconds for rebuttals.
It marks the first time all the major candidates will be on one stage. In addition to being one of Biden's top challengers in polls, Warren has also had longstanding policy disagreements with Biden, dating back to a 2005 bill that made it more hard for people to file for bankruptcy. The overall order from left to right is Klobuchar, Booker, Buttigieg, Sanders, Biden, Warren, Harris, Yang, O'Rourke and Castro. Only a handful of candidates were measured in NPR's general electorate favorability question, though a more complete roster was surveyed among self-identified Democrats. Some fights that were predicted in previous debates failed to materialize with candidates like Sanders and Warren in July joining forces to take on their rivals. Still, Democratic strategists see Biden as a fragile front-runner, and he has to have solid outings in these coming debates that will likely get more attention than the first couple of rounds. However, more candidates may qualify for the next debates in October.
