Google plans to reveal an overhauled News tab which enhances prominence for publishers rather than headlines. You'll understand what this News tab looked like and what it would look like later.
Google says the redesign will roll out "over the next couple weeks", so if you don't have it already, give it some time.More news: Perfect Simona Halep destroys Seren Williams to win title — WTA Wimbledon
The new design, which the company introduced in a tweet, brings the look of the News tab closer to that of the devoted Google News website. This new design will only be rolled out to the desktop in the next few weeks.
The new update will add a particular link about news as a card. For instance, if you search for "women's soccer world cup", stories from major news organizations will show up in boxes, and other links will have their individual cards - as opposed to a jumble of links like you're now used to.More news: Von der Leyen courts lawmakers in bid to become Commission chief
Additionally, the new Cart-type layout of Search Results News will display the full heading of the Article or News instead of showing a small headline. The new Re-designed News tab will highlight the publisher's name up side with the News Result Card. This will benefit the users who are looking for some good information without visiting multiple blogs. The update should be rolling out within the coming months. The tech giant's treatment of news sometimes seems like an afterthought, with the company content to have its search and aggregation features scoop up content. However, readers will be able to see more of a preview of each story.More news: Barbie Teams Up With The Late David Bowie
