Xiaomi Global Spokesperson Donovan Sung has teased the launch of Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite on Twitter. The Chinese smartphone maker is about to introduce the Mi A3 that's powered by Android One. The report also claims that while the Mi A3 will sport a triple camera setup, the Mi A3 Lite will, very likely, have a dual-cam module. Speculations of the launch increased after the company launched the CC9-series in China. What's everyone looking forward to the most in the next generation of the Mi A series? Xiaomi did not specify the models, but the "Mi A series" term is an indication that the company might launch more than one phone soon, possibly the Mi A3 and the Mi A3 Lite. The Mi A3 will also share some internal specifications with the Mi CC9, but the former won't be a rebranded version of the latter.
This is where things become confusing. As per the publication, the Xiaomi Mi A3 has been codenamed "bamboo_sprout", and it will feature a Snapdragon 730 SoC. These boast a 3D glass back design with gradient finish, 48-megapixel primary camera and in-display fingerprint sensor.More news: Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle together for Wimbledon ladies final
