HBO Max will also be developing new original series of its own, which we have listed in the gallery below.
Max is set to launch Spring 2020 and it'll be the new home of Friends as it leaves Netflix at the end of the year, as well as The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Commenting on the service, Robert Greenblatt, chairman, WarnerMedia Entertainment and Direct-To-Consumer, said: "HBO Max will bring together the diverse riches of WarnerMedia to create programming and user experiences not seen before in a streaming platform". This made it seem like HBO Max would include all of these networks as part of the streaming service, which has confused those that are already subscribed to some of them. If the series is indeed the second most-watched show on the Netflix, as Nielsen indicates, then that marks a win for the streaming service.More news: Jermaine Dupri on Today's Female Rappers: It's Like Strippers Rapping
Here's hoping there'll be more news on the service in the coming months. However, "Friends" being the original owner of HBO will be available as an exclusive sitcom.

There are also new exclusive film production deals with Greg Berlanti, one of Hollywood's most prolific and successful producers, and Reese Witherspoon.

But those are just a few of the things you can expect to see on the HBO Max when it does launch next year. In development are the Gremlins cartoon we talked about last week, a new series from Joss Whedon called The Nevers, a series set in the Dune universe, some novel adaptions and more.
