The Wall is also created to never turn off meaning you won't ever be faced by giant black display in your living room.
The Wall is built using Micro LED display technology, which is different to the LED-backlit LCDs used in the current crop of commercially available TVs. The Wall Luxury, that measures up to 292 inches, was unveiled at the InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, Florida. What was first launched as a commercial product is now getting a consumer version, almost a year after Samsung announced that such a model was in the works.More news: Instagram down in worldwide outage
Available globally in July, The Wall Luxury Micro LED TV is Samsung's first consumer version that takes advantage of the scalable technology. When you're not using it as a TV, the display goes into Ambient mode, serving as a digital canvas displaying everything from paintings and photographs to video art. A customizable décor frame is also included, allowing the screen to better match a user's particular room.
Whether viewing a classic movie, an anticipated sporting event or the latest console game, AI upscaling, Quantum HDR technology peak brightness of 2,000 nits and 120Hz video rate provide a rich and superior visual experience that is second-to-none. Samsung says that The Wall Luxury's diodes boast a 100,000 hour lifespan, and assuming that's accurate, it means you could leave the display on for more than 11 years straight.More news: Police find man hiding in attic above teenage girl's bedroom
