Former NFL player Kellen Winslow Jr. has been convicted of raping a 58-year-old homeless woman last year north of San Diego.
The jury also found Winslow guilty of indecent exposure and lewd conduct, but found him not guilty of one count of a lewd act, which prosecutors had said happened in front of a 77-year-old woman in a hot tub in nearby Carlsbad.
Winslow, 35, had pleaded not guilty to three counts of forcible rape, rape of an unconscious person, forcible sodomy, kidnap for specific felony, and forcible oral copulation, all felonies.
Jurors were deadlocked on the eight other counts Winslow faces and continue to deliberate, according to the courtroom footage.

All five women testified in the case against Winslow, outlining their experiences with Winslow and the allegations they made.

"This defendant is motivated by pure, unadulterated depravity for his own sexual purposes", Deputy District Attorney Dan Owens told the jury Tuesday during closing arguments. A 54-year-old hitchhiker accused Winslow of raping her in his Hummer last year.
Prosecutors say Winslow raped two transients in Encinitas, California, last year and a 17-year-old girl in 2003 during a Scripps Ranch house party.
While Winslow was out on $2 million bail, he was arrested for lewd conduct in front of a 77-year-old woman at a gym on two separate occasions in February of this year. Winslow's famous father attended every day of the trial.
Noting the number of accusers, the prosecutor said: "Lightning certainly doesn't strike twice - let alone five times".
