German police said on Monday they had found the corpses of two women in an apartment belonging to one of three people found dead, pierced by crossbow bolts, on Saturday in a guesthouse in the southern city of Passau.
The German daily Merkur reports that they had several arrows in their bodies: two had penetrated the man's head.

The bodies at the hotel in Passau were found on Saturday morning by an employee who opened the door to their three-bed room when they did not respond to repeated knocking.
"Further details and identities of the two women are still unknown - possible connections to the dead found in Passau are now the subject of investigations", added police in a statement.
Investigators are still trying to determine the relationship between the three, found dead Saturday, and what exactly happened in the room in a Passau hotel near the Austrian border.
A third crossbow was later found packed inside a bag, police said. All three of the deceased were German. The 53-year-old was lying on a bed hand in hand with the 33-year-old, while the 30-year-old was discovered on the floor.More news: Red Dead Redemption 2 PC port appears in dev's LinkedIn page
