Iain Glen is a terrific character actor but to see him as Bruce Wayne makes us wonder if the show is going for a seasoned crime fighter approach or a Batman who is at the end of his career and ready to retire. Titans producers explained Glen's version of Bruce Wayne as a much older man, but just as driven to fight for what is right. It appears that Glen will play an older version of Bruce, perhaps allowing the showrunners to encapsulate some elements from Frank Miller's legendary The Dark Knight Returns comic book. He's previously played Jorah Mormont and characters in both the Resident Evil and Tomb Raider film franchises. So surely there has to be something here not that he has been cast as Bruce Wayne in Titans Season 2.More news: Sasha Banks Wants Out Of WWE Company Hoping Shell Ride It Out
No release date has been set for Titans 2, but hopefully we can get it sometime later in the year. Last season, Batman showed up, however just in visualization sequiences. First, he will return in the final season of HBO's Game of Thrones, which begins very shortly. Game of Thrones star Iain Glen will don the cape for the show. He ditches Robin's tights, and with the help of his fellow Titans, he becomes the formidable new hero named Nightwing; sidekick no more.
