From being an underdog in the global smartphone market to becoming an industry leader, Huawei has covered a long distance in a very short time span. Last year, the brand launched P20 Pro, the first phone in the world to feature a triple camera setup. Whether users are keen on the high-end camera capabilities of Huawei's flagship, the still-amazingly-packed Huawei P30, or the budget category-dominating P30 Lite, there's something available for every need and every price point. Li said the camera will reshape the public's perception of mobile photography, and that it will set the pace for the next generation of smartphones. For the objective of displaying more content, HUAWEI P30 Pro features a double-curved Dewdrop display with a super small notch and minimal bezels. The P30 Pro is dubbed a "quad camera" with numerous imaging options. Achieving a record-high overall DxOMark score of 112, the HUAWEI P30 Pro is equipped with a new Leica Quad Camera System, including a 40 MP main camera with the HUWAI SuperSpectrum Sensor, a 20 MP ultra-wide angle camera, an 8 MP telephoto camera, the HUAWEI ToF Camera and the 32 MP front camera. By doing so, the sensor can be fitted in the chassis and support 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and a never-before seen 50x digital zoom, bringing the farthest objects closer to the user's eyes. While shooting, the screen splits into two halves: the lower half shows the wide-angle capture, while the half that's closer to the front camera shows a close-up shot. The lens quality, too, is pretty decent, as can be judged by the colour, details and clarity of the photos taken with the phone. All three variants of HUAWEI P30 Series sport a 32MP front camera which can produce expert selfies that will glow with stunning detail, even in overexposed backlight or during the night.More news: Democrats set new deadline on Trump tax returns
My main problem with taking phone pictures is that I don't have a particularly artistic mind, and so I was sure my photography would be awful, but with the Huawei P30 it was nearly impossible to take a bad picture.More news: Delta to restrict seat recline, making flying even worse
First-week sales figures of the Huawei P30 Pro could indicate that the device will become Huawei's most popular smartphone in South Africa. With technology like this, this phone camera can actually be pitted against DSLRs. Also, thanks to its fast-charging feature, the battery reaches 0-70% within a 30-minute charge. Off late, since the megapixel rat race has already run its course, phone manufacturers have resorted to using multiple camera sensors to market better camera quality.
