Rebellion has issued a press release for Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, in which the company has confirmed that the next part in the Sniper Elite series is now under development. The centerpiece of the announcement is the next major Sniper Elite game, though the announcement shies away from calling it "Sniper Elite 5" by name. Check out the remaster in action above.
Remastered Visuals - Modernized renderer and post processing effects, enhanced level geometry, textures and particles, plus a revamped lighting system, and 4K HDR support (on supported platforms) transports you to the front line. Rebellion says that it's also working on a standalone VR title to be revealed later this year, which is a bit closer to home, but I'm afraid there's no way for me to swing a Switch release of Sniper Elite 3 as particularly relevant in this case. And given that Rebellion doesn't flood the market with releases in the series means there's a lot gamers always craving more, but this won't be the case for much longer.More news: Trump poised to veto border emergency rebuke

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered (PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch), Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition (Switch), and Sniper Elite VR are all slated to come out sometime in 2019. You can check out a trailer for the game, here.More news: Browns RB Hunt suspended 8 games
Rebellion has officially revealed that Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is indeed a thing following yesterday's leak, and due for release later this year.
I've always thought the Sniper Elite games were a touch underappreciated, so it's nice to see Rebellion throwing their full weight behind the series. Make sure to subscribe now and never miss an episode!More news: Is Jordy Nelson the veteran WR the Steelers need?
