The plane narrowly missed a vehicle travelling on 16th Avenue near Highway 404 where the video was captured.
The plane veers into the path of the oncoming vehicle. The frightening incident was all captured on dash cam camera.
The incident occurred as the single-engine plane lost control right after taking off from a runway at Buttonville Airport on Tuesday afternoon, reports CTV News.

"Obviously there was a loss of control of the aircraft", York Regional Police Sgt. Dave Mitchell said.
A male instructor and female student were in the plane. "Thankfully there were no injuries", Mitchell added.
Dashcam footage sent to Tom Podolec shows a dramatic angle of the crash, as the plane descended on to the highway next to the airport.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said they're investigating the plane crash.
"So you come in to land and you basically do a landing and you slow down and accelerate and then you do a go, another takeoff", said Ewan Tasker. "It's an easy way to get in a bunch of takeoff and landings if you're training". A standard manoeuvre but in this case something went wrong'.
"A plane is down and we have locked down the area, so it will affect traffic flow", said a YRP spokesperson.
