About a month ago, Disney released a trailer for its upcoming live-acton Aladdin remake, the latest part in its 100-part plan to weaponize your nostalgia and make several trillion dollars.
Vfx shops on Aladdin include Industrial Light & Magic, Hybride, One of Us, DNEG Stereo, Nvizage, and Proof. The new trailer is breathtaking and comes across as an exciting tale set against the backdrop of a Middle Eastern city amid the desserts. We also hear a quick snippet of the Genie singing too, so Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff fans rejoice - Smith will be lending his singing chops to this film. When Entertainment Weekly published a cover with a first look of the actor as Genie, originally voiced by Robin Williams, some fans were upset that he wasn't blue.

Naomi Scott plays Princess Jasmine, while Alan Tudyk will voice Lago, Jafar's parrot sidekick. So it would be good to know how the songs sound in this new Aladdin right now, wouldn't' it?
