Mike Priefer is out as the Minnesota Vikings special teams coach. Williams himself was sacked at the conclusion of the season and replaced by Freddie Kitchens, the former Arizona assistant and Browns offensive coordinator.

Cleveland native Mike Priefer is coming home to be the special teams coordinator and according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network former Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks will be the defensive coordinator for the Browns under Kitchens.
Since 2011, Priefer has been running the special teams for the Vikings. Priefer denied the allegations and participated in sensitivity training after an independent investigation found enough cause to suspend him.

The Giants went on to interview Spagnuolo for the permanent head coaching job, but he was ultimately passed over in favor of Pat Shurmur.
