Alien fans have been asking for a follow-up to Alien: Isolation, the survival horror title that takes place between the series' first two films, since its release in 2014. Isolation, you'll need to "outsmart the ideal hunter by making perilous choices", shepherding the surviving crew to safety.
It sounds very similar to Isolation on paper - you'll be exploring a Weyland-Yutani space station and avoiding a relentless Xenomorph as it hunts you down.

Alien: Isolation was a really, really good video game. Amanda is only able to guide these crew members using the station's emergency systems, all the while having to deal with not only the Xenomorphs but also the station's limited power supply. This is the new Alien project that was trademarked late past year, so don't expect a console announcement anytime soon.
Are you excited to play Alien: Blackout, even if it's not on your console?
Alien: Blackout arrives on App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore on Thursday 24 January.
Alien: Blackout appeared on and storefronts on Monday in a "pre-register" state. Plus, Fox plans to tell more of Amanda Ripley's story across multiple mediums throughout 2019. "The uncertainty and unpredictability of both the alien and her crew can impose total defeat for Amanda and the entire station".More news: Audi wants to put VR in the back seat of your vehicle
One of its key features is described like this: "Every decision can lead to a different conclusion".
The listing also promises different strategies and endings. After all, there are already many stealth horror games available on mobile, and they tend to do well on the platform.
Alien: Blackout is due out for release on iOS and Android devices later this month.More news: See What the Monster in "Bird Box" Was Supposed to Look Like
