Following news of a woman in a vegetative state giving birth, families of patients at Hacienda HealthCare are demanding answers.
Cesena's daughter almost drowned 14 years ago and was left with a traumatic brain injury that caused her to have hundreds of seizures a day. "I haven't been able to sleep well at night because of what occurred here", a mother, Angela Gomez, told CBS.

The woman, who was incapacitated in a drowning incident, was a patient at Hacienda Healthcare when she went into labor on December 29 and delivered a baby boy, according to local media.
According to some reports, the patient was a victim of a near-drowning more than 10 years ago.
It wasn't until she started to moan and they attempted to find out what was wrong that they discovered she was pregnant and in labour.
