Adrian Dreshuan Middleton was charged Friday in the May 20 incident in Houston.

She is said to have told investigators she was playing with her brother but became angry when he would not stop crying and wrapped the seatbelt around him.
The 6-year-old said that while their father was gone, her baby brother started crying, and so she began playing with him.
No arrest has been made. Later he saw the toddler was in the rear seat with a seatbelt wrapped around his neck.

The 1-year-old was taken to a hospital, but he did not survive. The father also claimed he checked on his children through the store window.
According to court documents, the father was shopping in a store off of the East Freeway in Houston on May 20, 2018, and left his two kids in the auto.
