Think Pokemon Go for the magic-using crowd. Though, the real-world setting and AR (augmented reality) technology should mean that these two mysterious Harry Potter games feel a lot different to play. Or at least, according to Niantic and Warner Bros.it is.
It's been a year since we first heard that the wizarding world of Harry Potter was being adapted into a new Pokemon GO style game, which is now being developed by Niantic for release on mobile devices. A new trailer also teases what to expect, showing a woman stunning a golden snitch before disappearing into a poster which reads: 'The Wizarding World is at risk of exposure.
"Please resist the urge to panic". Traces of magic are appearing across the Muggle world without warning and in a rather chaotic manner. But the good news is that more time means a better game and we have a trailer to help pass the time.

Early signup is available now through the game's website, which tells future players to "brush up on your spells, get your wand ready, and enlist immediately".
