There's a debate playing out in the race between Senator Ted Cruz and Rep. Beto O'Rourke. "Beto embodies what is special about Texas, an energy and an integrity that is completely genuine". But, not surprisingly, plenty of others applauded Willie's involvement in the campaign. The report was posted to Nelson's Facebook page on Thursday. This public gesture has upset some of the musician's more politically conservative fans. The move seems to have surprised and upset some of Nelson's fans - even though he has a long record as an activist on a range of liberal issues.
