She is mostly known for producing and appearing in her best friend EJ Johnson's reality series, EJNYC, back in 2016.
In some sad news, it is reported that reality TV producer and former reality star Lyric McHenry recently passed away due to a suspected drug overdose.
According to reports, the 26-year-old pal of EJ Johnson was 20 weeks pregnant and was discovered around 5 a.m. above the Major Deegan Expressway at Undercliff Ave. and Boscobel Place in Highbridge in the Bronx.
A New York Police Department spokesperson tells PEOPLE a 26-year-old female was found unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the sidewalk in the vicinity of Undercliff Avenue and Boscobel Place, within the confines of the 44 Precinct, at approximately 5:05 a.m. on Tuesday.More news: Vimeo scrubs Alex Jones from streaming service
Police say she was by herself when they found her. Investigators are waiting on the city medical examiner's report to determine an official cause of death.
McHenry was described as EJ's "best friend since birth" when it was revealed she was cast in his NY spin-off from Rich Kids of Beverly Hills. No obvious signs of trauma were observed.
The NYPD would not confirm her identity as it is pending proper family notification.

It appears that McHenry had been celebrating her birthday in the hours before her death.
EJNYC lasted for one season E! and featured EJ and a slew of close friends in Manhattan. Just last week, Johnson took to Instagram to wish McHenry a happy birthday.
