Since Nemanja Matic left last summer the Blues have brought in flops like Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater, and while Jorginho looks a promising signing this year, there certainly seems room for one more top player to line up alongside him and N'Golo Kante in Maurizio Sarri's preferred 4-3-3 formation.
However, Milinkovic-Savic, who recently returned to Rome following Serbia's World Cup campaign, told Football-Italia that he intends to honour his contract with his current employers.

"Milinkovic-Savic is younger, fits the same prototype as Pogba in terms of physicality, ability, vision, passing, range etc, is available from Lazio and would cost less to buy that United sell Pogba for. €105 million?" said Lotito.
Milinkovic-Savic joined Lazio in 2015 from Belgian side Genk and has gone on to make more than 100 appearances for the club.
