The 54-year-old actor's lawyers filed papers in response to Angelina's papers.
However, the allegations have infuriated Pitt, and his attorney, Lance Spiegel, has now fired back at Jolie, suggesting she lied about the lack of child support funds.
The "Maleficent" actress said on Tuesday that she wanted to expedite the divorce and return to single status by the end of 2018. Pitt's response said that a status conference that is already scheduled would serve the same objective.
