Prosecutors say the "touching" statute only applies to strippers who "regularly appear" at the establishment. This was a setup & politically motivated. Police said they routinely conduct such undercover operations.
"They placed undercover officers in the strip club where they hoped they would be able to arrest my client", Avenatti said in a phone call.
Earlier this year, Daniels made a bombshell allegation that she had sex with Trump in 2006, when he was married.

Daniels said she was "saddened" the other two dancers arrested with her did not have their charges dismissed.
