Louis' brother, Prince George was baptised at the very same church at St James Palace, the Chapel Royal in 2003 while Princess Charlotte was christened at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in 2015, the same church as Princess Diana. Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton, her brother James and her pregnant sister Pippa were also present.
Prince Louis was carried into the chapel by his beaming mother, wearing the handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, which in 2008 replaced the original which had been worn for all royal christenings since that of Queen Victoria's eldest daughter in 1841. According to the Press Association, "The decision was not made on health grounds, Buckingham Palace says, and it is understood to have been mutually agreed by the Queen and the Cambridges some time ago".
