Kim summit highlights: European Union hails talks as 'crucial and necessary step'

The White House has released the menu for the lunch during the historic summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore on Tuesday (12 June), and it features elements of Western, Korean and Asian cuisine.
The document indicates the leaders will work toward establishment of "new US-Democratic People's Rrepublic of Korea relations".
Trump was asked a question about the video at the press conference, during which he said he commissioned the video as a way to sell peace to Kim.
"We're both very honored to sign the document, thank you", Trump said, with Kim sitting at his side.

This is not the first time Trump has made references to Kim's weight.

And speaking several hours into their meeting, Trump said it had been: "A really fantastic meeting". Out of peace. Two men, two leaders, one destiny.

Trump now seems to be most upset with France's Emmanuel Macron and Canada's Justin Trudeau, both of whom were slammed by the president and his team over the last few days.
Trump told the press conference on Tuesday that the United States would stop annual joint military exercises with South Korea, denounced by Pyongyang as rehearsals for a northward invasion.
