We are still waiting for Google to reveal their new Pixel 3 XL device for 2018 and while Google has been doing a great job of keeping most of the details away from the public, they still can't stop every leak.
Google's Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL smartphones are expected to launch around October this year, but leaks and rumours about the upcoming flagships have already started pouring in. This one is of the squeezable variety, however, as XDA Developers reported that the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL's Active Edge feature might make a return on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Last week we learned a lot about the size of the Pixel 3 series smartphones that Google is working on. That includes the notch that so many people seem to be against as well as the sizeable chin - presumably required in order to get those stereo speakers onto the face of the device.

If Google is to do the same, at least for the Pixel 3 XL as this leak would appear to confirm, then we can expect there to be plenty of push back. The Active Edge feature works similar to that of the HTC's squeeze gesture found is HTC U11 and U11+. The other two are listed with codenames - crosshatch and blueline which are reportedly for Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 respectively. It is a squeeze gesture in Pixel 2 which lets users open Google Assistant, snooze alarm, and also silent incoming calls just by squeezing the sides of the phone. Further, the folks over XDA are also suggesting that Google is looking forward towards building a glass back. The "window" of the phone will have a glossy finish while the rear panel may have a matte finish.More news: Trudeau 'stabbed us in back' on trade, says Trump chief economic adviser
