2019 Jeep Renegade gets a new front bumper which is lower than that seen on its earlier counterpart.
The Renegade badly needed a facelift - it sold only 72.578 units a year ago in Europe, a five percent decrease YoY compared to 2016, on a segment that rose more than 5%, with the leaders selling three times more cars than Jeep.
To begin with, there are subtle changes on the front with revamped projector headlamps along with a redesigned bumper. However, Jeep Renegade facelift will most likely be offered in a choice of petrol and diesel options.More news: Paul Manafort: Trump's ex-chair hit with new obstruction of justice charges
After four years on the marketplace, the Jeep Renegade is finally getting some kind of a makeover. The head and taillights maintain the shape of the current model but feature new LED elements, while the lower front fascia is completely new. The larger infotainment system and the climate control unit seems to have been borrowed from the 2019 Jeep Cherokee. Oddly, Jeep is not offering any details on the revised Renegade just yet; instead just releasing three photos.
Depending on the model chosen, the 2019 Renegade can come with a six-speed manual, seven-speed dual-clutch or a nine-speed automatic.
In terms of mechanicals, the Europe-spec Renegade is expected to get a new 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine with maximum power of 118bhp.More news: PS4 Zombie Exclusive 'Days Gone' Gets Official Release Date
