If you have a paid Drive storage plan, you'll be automatically upgraded to Google One over the coming months.

The new service isn't meant to replace Google Drive; the company will still give 15GB of free storage to each Google account. Moving on up the ladder, users now on the 1TB plan will automatically be upgraded to 2TB in coming months but the upgrade will be at no extra charge. Aside from this nomenclature nuance, however, Google One is being updated with new features and cheaper prices. For $20 a year, you can extend your storage for up to 100 GB of combined Google service data pool. "Google one" is the name given to the storage plans after rebranding it. One of the Google's directors named Larissa Fontaine announces that those will also include discounts on the hotel which you find in google search and preferred rates with also be provided for other Google services or the consumer will get credits on google play. And lots more benefits to come over time. The service is now live in the US but will slowly expand to other regions later this year.
Many details about this tier of support are not yet clear.
Subscribers will also get a number of new advantages like fast access to support for the company's consumer products and services. New plans are part of the revamp with pricing and storage tiers starting at 100GB going all the way to 30TB of storage. Google is now getting some improvements for its cloud storage for paid customers. Similarly, a monthly payment of $299.99 will let users have access to 30 TB of storage.
