HTC is planning a launch event May 23 where it's expected to release its latest smartphone. In terms of cameras, it has dual cameras on the back, consisting of a 12-megapixel sensor and 16-megapixel sensor.

The device will come out of the box running Android 8.0 Oreo but will supposedly be upgraded to Android P, and the new version of HTC Sense will add some extra features to the squeeze functionality of the device. The leaked specs sheet also says that the phone is able to offer 23.8 hours of talk time on 3G/4G network. The front-facing cameras will also support Face Unlock, which unlocks the phone using facial recognition. The leak also hints at AR stickers. The cameras will have optical image stabilization, support for AR stickers and HDR Boost 2. The device will have 128GB of storage with 2TB microSD support. Video wise we've got 4K at 60fps, and slo-mo at 240fps (1080p). The phone has dual-nano SIM card slot with dual-4G LTE, GPS, dual-band gigabit Wi-Fi MU-MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, HTC Connect (AirPlay, Miracast, Google Cast, DLNA), Bluetooth 5.0 (with aptX and aptX-HD), NFC, and USB 3.1 Type-C port.
