However, their efforts could be to of no avail, with Chelsea claimed by the Mirror to be at the front of the queue in the race to sign Seri.
According to the same story, Sanllehi was close to bringing Seri to FC Barcelona last summer when he was still a member of the La Liga outfit's board.
