Early this Wednesday morning, T.I. was arrested outside his gated community in Atlanta.
Atlanta entertainer T.I. has been arrested in Henry County. The rapper has been released on bail.
Henry County Deputy Police Chief Mike Ireland said T.I. was arrested around 4:30 a.m. after he got into an argument with a security guard. This led to an argument, during which T.I. reportedly asked, "Don't you know who I am?" before calling his friend to back him up.More news: Battlefield V name confirmed as EA sets May 23 reveal

Police told the outlet that he was arrested at the gated community where he lives after an altercation with a security guard. "The guard was sound asleep when Tip arrived at the guardhouse".
Still, he claims the security guard, who was African-American, "antagonized" him and had "every opportunity" to apologize for sleeping, but the guy refused. I just got my hands on the mugshot.More news: EU's Tusk asks: 'With friends like Trump, who needs enemies?'
"Tip was wrongfully arrested", Harris's attorney Steve Sadow said in a statement to the media on Wednesday, referring to the rapper by one of his nicknames. Tip clearly identified himself and sought entry. He says the guard continued to refuse entry "without justification" before words were exchanged and police were called. Tips was in contact with "Tiny" by phone and "Tiny" confirmed that Tip should be let in immediately.
"Tip was wrongfully arrested early this morning when he attempted to gain entrance into his gated community - where his wife Tiny' and his family reside".
In an update, TMZ reported that sources told them T.I. did not strike the guard but that the guard "feared he would be hit during the dispute", which apparently under Georgia law constitutes simple assault. He says the guard eventually called the police, but says the law enforcement near his home are "white cops in a very white area", and he was promptly arrested.More news: Rouhani says Iran may remain part of nuclear accord
