A new trailer for the game was just released, as well, which contain gameplay footage and a brief look into the world of the game.
Rage 2's first trailer is comprised nearly entirely of live action.
Firstly, as expected RAGE 2 will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC as evidenced by boxart for each platform. RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses - Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, the gods of the first-person shooter - to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.More news: Loveland-area weather: Chance of severe thunderstorms
As promised, today Bethesda released the first gameplay trailer of Rage 2, a video that allows you to see the game in action after the short teaser trailer that accompanied the official reveal of the game on May 14. It also provides an important chance for the Swedish studio to learn from their prior post-apocalyptic shooter, 2015's Mad Max, and for Bethesda to turn Rage into the series they always envisioned it being.
But let's focus on RAGE 2 for now. Those are the only options, because you certainly don't manage to pull Rage 2 out of your hat unless you know for sure that's coming. Rage 2 is happening, we learned for certain yesterday, with Doom masterminds id Software and Just Cause and Max Max developer Avalanche Studios at its helm.

Bethesda has not revealed what time the trailer will be released at, however yesterday's teaser was released at 3pm United Kingdom time.
The only trailer we've seen so far is the announcement trailer, viewable at the top of the page. Rage 2 may not necessarily continue on the same note as the original game, but it's nonetheless a brand and Bethesda might be able to milk it some more.
