The film's plot is described as being "about a man who wakes up one day to find he is the only person who can remember the songs of The Beatles".
The Mail on Sunday reports that Sheeran is to appear on screen and write new music for the film, which will also include Beatles classics.

The pop star denied the railings had anything to do with homeless sleepers, and said he wants to erect them to keep tabloid paparazzi away from his door step.
However, it is thought Lily James and EastEnders actor Himesh Patel are also among the cast.
