Thandie Newton (Westworld) plays Val, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Goodbye Christopher Robin) is L3-37, Paul Bettany (Avengers: Infinity War) plays Dryden Vos, and Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi) is Chewbacca.

The sequence has been teased in the trailers for the latest non-Skywalker entry in the Star Wars universe, and promises a different kind of action to the usual epic battles and lightsaber duels. Which, honestly, makes me more eager than anything else to see it. Now the audience will see how Chewbacca and Han Solo met. In the clip, Han says tells Chewie: "You think everything sounds like a bad idea", which, if you're traveling with Han is likely true so can't blame Chewie for that one.
