Latimer is coming off his best season in the NFL.
They signed free agent corner B.W. Webb, 27, an undersized but athletic corner who has played on five teams in five seasons, most recently in Cleveland, though he didn't appear in a game for the Browns in 2017.
The Giants are bringing back defensive end Kerry Wynn on a one-year deal, according to multiple reports.
All kidding aside, this situation could be a good one for Latimer to establish himself as a number two receiver with Odell Beckham Jr. on the other side of the field and Sterling Shepard in the slot.

That makes a second former Broncos receiver/returnman the Giants have signed since December. He started seven of the 13 games last season. Sharp is under contract for 2018 at the moment, too.
Receiver and special teamer Dwayne Harris is also vulnerable, as he also finished up last season on injured reserve and has been wearing down. Harris is excellent on coverage in special teams, though, and was a solid veteran presence in the receivers' room before his injury.
A defensive end who occasionally moved inside during his first four years with the Giants, he likely will play that position in the new 3-4 scheme.

The Giants also welcomed a newcomer to the defense in Webb.
Latimer, still only 25 years old, had 19 catches this past season for 287 yards and two scores. He has 91 tackles, three sacks, three fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
"He has an ability to go up and really get the ball, catch the ball well in traffic - as well as get the 50-50 ball as we've seen the last three or four weeks from Cody", Broncos general manager John Elway said, via the Denver Post. He had 92 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
