Legendary costume designer and longtime Cher collaborator Bob Mackie has signed on for the production which will also feature set designs by Tony Award victor Christine Jones and Brett Banakis, lighting design by Kevin Adams, and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.

No word yet on which actress will get to wear the fab designs in the show, scheduled for a tryout in Chicago in June before moving to Broadway in the fall.

The new jukebox musical, based on the life and times of the "Believe" singer, announced that fashion icon Bob Mackie will be offering his services as the costume designer for the show. For "The Cher Show", Mackie will re-create and reimagine many of her iconic looks from her more than 50 years in show business. The new "bio-musical" will feature a book by Tony Award winner Rick Elice (Jersey Boys), choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies), and orchestrations, arrangements and musical supervision by Tony Award winner Daryl Waters (Memphis).
